This week

Lots of little things going on around here. We survived what seems like the longest spring break ever, and our schedule is slowly returning to normal. Our community garden plot is coming along. The boys and I managed to haul out two huge yard waste bags of onions. It is supposed to be nice this weekend, so we are hoping to make some more progress, and maybe even plant some of the seeds we started inside.

Marigold is growing so fast. Porter took the longest to adjust, but now seems to kind of like her. Mason and I are taking her to a puppy training class. She is already learning all kinds of new tricks. He thinks it's great. I am just hoping to come away with a dog that listens, and doesn't steal food off the counter.
On a completely different note, a couple strange things happened this week too. This photo I took last fall at Jamestown, was chosen out of my flickr pictures to be part of an East Coast guide book. Later that same day one of my marble garden balls was included in an Etsy treasury. While looking at the treasury I thought I recognized one of the other artists names. I checked out her profile and it turned out that I did. It was one of the people we bought our house from. I had heard from the neighbors that she did mosaics, but had never met her. Small world.

I'm off to try to get a few things done........
